SAN ANTONIO, TX An 8yearold boy died on July 25, 2025, after being accidentally shot by a 13yearold who was handling a firearm inside a residence on the citys East Side. Authorities responded to a home on Bob Billa Street shortly after 4:30p.m. and found the younger boy with a gunshot wound. Despite transport to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. Four juveniles at the scene were detained, including the teen believed to have discharged the weapon. Police have not confirmed whether any adults were present or whether charges will follow.
