Led by Gino Giliotti, a Rangemaster Certified Advanced Pistol Instructor and active USPSA competitor, 1ST IN emphasizes real-world, pressure-tested skills over static shooting. Classes are capped at five students to ensure individualized feedback and coaching. Training is conducted outdoors year-round at the Lebanon County Police Combat Pistol Club in Lebanon, PA, providing a realistic environment with 180 firing mobility and varying target distances and angles. The curriculum includes Concealed Performance Pistol, Carbine Proficiency, Pistol Red Dot, and private training sessions tailored to individual skill levels. Students engage in dynamic drills under time constraints, incorporating movement and transitions to develop repeatable skills for on-demand performance. The training philosophy focuses on building hard skills, accountability, and the ability to perform under stress. As one student noted, 'Gino discussed with me my goals. He ran an initial assessment and then tailored the training to specific aspects that I need to improve on.'
