3Ts Defense Experience ( is a premier firearms training academy located in Lexington, South Carolina. Founded by Tenisha Doby, the academy offers a range of courses designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for personal safety and responsible firearm ownership. Tenisha's journey into firearms training began after she experienced a violent crime in 2009, which led her to commit to never being unprepared again. She became a certified firearms instructor and safety advocate, focusing on responsible gun ownership, situational awareness, and practical self-defense skills. The academy's offerings include concealed carry classes, NRA and USCCA courses, self-defense tactics, security training, and women's only courses. Additionally, 3Ts Defense Experience provides IDPA practice sessions every Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM, allowing individuals to practice drawing from the holster for self-defense, become competitors, or simply have fun.
