Arkansas State Police (ASP) have released a new photo of a person of interest in the brutal killings of Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, at Devil's Den State Park. The couple was tragically killed on a walking trail on Saturday, leaving behind their two young daughters, aged 7 and 9, who are now safe with family. This development comes after the initial release of a composite sketch, signaling a renewed effort in identifying and apprehending the individual responsible for this heinous crime. The photo, captured by another park visitor, shows the person from behind, seemingly observing the surrounding trees. Investigators believe the suspect may have sustained an injury during the attack and have provided additional details about his appearance and potential vehicle. He is described as a white man, and on the day of the incident, he was reportedly wearing a long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, dark pants, a dark baseball cap, sunglasses, a black backpack, and fingerless gloves. Authorities also suspect he was driving a black, four-door sedan, possibly a Mazda, with a license plate obscured by electrical or duct tape, and was seen heading towards a park exit that could lead to state Highway 170 or 220. The case has drawn significant attention, with an assistant professor of criminology warning that the resolution could take decades, underscoring the complexity of the investigation. Despite this, the Arkansas State Police's criminal investigation department has completed its on-site work, and the focus remains on gathering information from the public. They are urging anyone with images, videos, or any potential information about the suspect to contact the ASP tip line or submit tips online. The community remains on edge as the search for justice continues for the Brink family.
