✍️By ZRIntel Editorial Team📍Burlington, VermontA federal investigation in Vermont has led to the seizure of 52 firearms from a man legally prohibited from possessing them. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced the seizure on August 8, 2025, following a coordinated search at the suspects residence. The recovered firearms included handguns, rifles, and shotguns, along with thousands of rounds of ammunition. Authorities say the mans prohibition status stemmed from prior felony convictions. The investigation began after agents received a tip that he was stockpiling weapons. No injuries were reported during the operation, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. The U.S. Attorneys Office for the District of Vermont has charged the man with multiple counts of unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition. If convicted, he faces a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years per count.
