DENVER, Colo. Concealed carry instructor Jordan Ramirez is offering free classes to survivors of domestic violence, covering firearm safety, defensive shooting, and Colorados self-defense laws. Ramirez, a former sheriffs deputy, partners with local shelters and advocacy groups to identify participants and provide follow-up range time. The program also includes sessions on conflict avoidance, situational awareness, and the legal responsibilities of armed defense. Ramirez says the goal is not just to issue certificates but to ensure students leave with both skill and confidence.
