Not only did he excel in law enforcement, but he also took up the mantle of leadership as the President of the Stockton Police Officers Association and the SPOA Widows and Orphans Fund. Faulkner was known for his expertise in firearms, recognized as an expert firearms instructor and the esteemed Range Master for the department. His commitment to excellence in marksmanship positioned him as a member of the department's champion pistol shooting team throughout the 1960s.
