Three individuals were injured by gunfire in that incident. Assistant U.S. Attorney Justin Lee is prosecuting the case. If convicted, Davis faces a maximum statutory penalty of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. This prosecution falls under 'Operation Take Back America,' a nationwide Department of Justice initiative aimed at combating illegal immigration, dismantling transnational criminal organizations, and enhancing community safety. It also aligns with 'Project Safe Neighborhoods' (PSN), which unites law enforcement and communities to reduce violent crime and gun violence.
