Defense 360 LLC ( is a premier firearms training academy located in Columbia, South Carolina. Founded by Trenton Hayes, a certified NRA Pistol Instructor, Range Safety Officer, and SLED Concealed Weapons Permit Instructor, the academy offers a range of courses designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for personal safety and responsible firearm ownership. Trenton's mission is to promote firearm safety and education, aiming to eliminate the improper utilization of firearms in the community. The academy's offerings include the South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) class, which meets all requirements set by SLED and is an informative class for all to take. The course comes with all the required application paperwork; however, fingerprinting, firearm, ammunition, and range fees are not included. Classes are typically 6-8 hours long. Additionally, Defense 360 LLC offers the NRA New Shooter Seminar, a 45-60 minute seminar that exposes new gun owners to the fundamentals of firearm safety, and personal training sessions at $75 per hour for continued skill development.
