The California Rifle & Pistol Association (CRPA) is set to hold an initial meeting for its Siskiyou County Chapter on July 16th at 6 PM. The event will take place in Level Up Studio, located at 321 West Miner Street, Yreka, California. Homer Yates, Northern California Program Representative for the CRPA, will lead the session, focusing on how to establish a local Gun Owners Chapter within the county. This meeting is expected to attract current members of the CRPA and those interested in responsible gun ownership, as well as educating the community about lawful firearm use. Founded in 1875, CRPA is committed to protecting and promoting the rights associated with firearm ownership while advocating for the safety and responsible management of natural resources. The organization engages with local law enforcement to foster community relationships centered around firearm education. The initiative to start a Siskiyou County Chapter represents an important step in grassroots advocacy for gun owners in the area, enabling local collaboration and support amongst firearm enthusiasts.
