A tragic shooting in the early morning hours of July 26 left two men dead in the small community of Miami, West Virginia. According to the Kanawha County Sheriffs Office (KCSO), deputies responded to a residence on Geneva Lane at approximately 1:22 AM after a woman called to report that she found her son on the front porch with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers discovered two menone on the porch and one on the front lawnboth dead from apparent gunshot injuries. The victims were later confirmed to be a father and son who resided at the home.
