On August 7, 2025, several firearms were stolen during an overnight break-in at a licensed gun shop in Fayetteville, North Carolina. According to the ATF and Fayetteville Police Department, unknown suspects broke into the shop using a vehicle to ram the storefront. Surveillance footage shows at least three masked individuals grabbing handguns and rifles before fleeing. Authorities are coordinating with federal agents to recover the stolen weapons. The shop had previously been inspected for compliance.
