Fort Stewart Shooting Leaves Five Soldiers Injured, Suspect in Custody

Army Secretary Dan Driscoll visited Fort Stewart on August 8 to personally commend six soldiers for their quick response, awarding medals and praising their actions as life-saving. Investigators report that Radford used a personal 9mm handgun. How the firearm was brought into the secured workspace is under investigation.
