✍️By ZRIntel Editorial Team📍Twin Falls, IDTWIN FALLS, Idaho Precision Rifle Series (PRS) competitors from across the Northwest converged on Twin Falls this weekend for a regional match that proved to be as mentally demanding as it was technical. With winds gusting up to 20 mph and unpredictable shifts across the range, shooters were forced to adjust dope cards and wind holds on the fly. Match director Ben Hargrove praised the field for their resilience. This was a thinking shooters match. Every stage forced you to adapt, he said. Stages included long-range engagements past 1,000 yards, barricade shooting under time pressure, and awkward positional shots designed to test stability and fundamentals. Local favorite Dana Collins took first place in the Tactical Division, while veteran shooter Matt Ortega secured the Open Division win with a decisive final stage performance. The match also doubled as a points qualifier for the national PRS standings, making it a pivotal event for those aiming to compete at the championship level.
