STOCKHOLM / U.S. INVISIO, a leader in tactical communications, has announced the launch of its new T30 headset, designed to enhance both firearms training and operational field performance for military, law enforcement, and professional shooting personnel. The T30 headset combines market-leading hearing protection, situational awareness, and advanced audio technology to create a versatile training and operational tool that addresses the challenges faced by modern firearm users in dynamic environments. The T30 leverages INVISIOs expertise in tactical communications, delivering a passive hearing protection rating of 30 dB SNR / 33 dB NRSA20, combined with active noise reduction capabilities. This dual approach allows trainees and operators to safely conduct live-fire exercises while maintaining the ability to hear critical environmental cues, such as team commands, target impacts, and movement in the surrounding area. The headsets acoustic design provides sound localization down to 9 degrees, giving users precise auditory feedback crucial for situational awareness during firearms training and tactical operations. One of the most innovative aspects of the T30 is its adaptability for both mounted and dismounted scenarios. The headset can be integrated with control units, INVISIO P30 Push-to-Talk devices, and third-party communication systems, allowing multiple radios or devices to be connected simultaneously. This feature enables instructors to simulate complex operational conditions during live-fire or simulated exercises, enhancing decision-making and team coordination. Users can also connect the headset to smartphones or laptops, expanding training possibilities through simulation software or digital scenario planning. The T30 headset offers multiple wearing configurations and power modes, including battery operation or power via connected devices, allowing for seamless transitions between training, simulation, and live-fire operations. The headset is also water and humidity resistant, and can be submersed up to two meters for two hours, ensuring durability during rigorous field exercises. Quick swapping between wearing styles without tools further supports rapid adaptation during training or operational shifts. For firearms instructors, the T30 opens new possibilities for structured training programs. The combination of situational awareness, adaptive audio feedback, and connectivity allows for more immersive and realistic exercises. Trainees can practice decision-making under simulated combat conditions while instructors monitor performance, provide real-time feedback, and adjust training scenarios to maximize learning outcomes. The headsets ability to preserve critical hearing while allowing communication makes it particularly valuable during live-fire drills, where auditory cues are essential for safety and operational effectiveness. Jonathan Wassberg, Product Manager of Headsets at INVISIO, explained: "The T30 is designed to address the specific needs of tactical operators and instructors alike. By combining hearing protection, situational awareness, and versatile connectivity, we have created a tool that enhances training realism, safety, and operational performance. Users no longer need multiple headsets for different scenarios, streamlining training and field operations."
