CAMP PERRY, Ohio Rising star Emily Larson, 17, set a new record at the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) National Smallbore Championships, scoring 2394-190x to surpass the previous mark by four points. Larson, representing the Minnesota Junior Rifle Team, competed against seasoned shooters from across the country, many of whom are collegiate athletes or military team members. CMP officials say her performance is a sign of the sports strong youth pipeline.
