Students will also learn how to defend themselves in court. The class includes both classroom instruction and range qualification, with a shooting proficiency demonstration of 50 rounds at distances of 3, 7, and 15 yards. A passing score of at least 175 out of 250 points is required. In addition to the LTC course, Lone Star Pistol Training Academy offers various other classes, such as Basic Gun Training for Beginners, Women's Basic Gun Training, AR-15 Fundamentals & Home Defense, Handgun Shooting Drills, Gun Cleaning 101, and Court-Ordered Gun Safety Classes.
