Man arrested in deadly shooting inside downtown San Diego bar

On Sunday evening, a fight at a downtown San Diego rooftop bar escalated into a fatal shooting, leaving one man dead and another in custody. San Diego Police responded to the Cielo Rooftop Lounge at 701 Sixth Avenue in the Gaslamp Quarter at approximately 5:18 p.m.. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 46-year-old male victim in a third-floor hallway with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts by officers and paramedics, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity has not yet been released. Authorities quickly apprehended 37-year-old Bryan Tyner on the sidewalk outside the establishment, where he was being detained by bystanders. Tyner now faces a murder charge and is currently booked in County Jail. The San Diego Police Homicide Unit is actively processing the crime scene and interviewing witnesses to gather further details.
