The event was designed to test the marksmanship skills of Airmen with the M4 carbine, focusing on shooting accuracy using iron sights in a variety of challenging positions: prone, sitting, kneeling, and standingall unsupported. Competitors were required to fire 20 rounds within 45 seconds during the rapid-fire round, demonstrating not only their ability to shoot quickly but also to maintain precision under the intense pressure of a timed environment. These rigorous requirements tested their ability to react swiftly while ensuring their shots remained on target. This competition was not just about individual performance; it was also about fostering camaraderie among Airmen, reinforcing teamwork, and encouraging mutual support.
