MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. Firearms coach Daniel Reeve has developed a VR-based pistol training system to supplement live range work. The platform uses motion-tracking sensors and a replica pistol to give real-time feedback on draw speed, sight alignment, and trigger press. Reeve, a USPSA competitor, says the VR system allows students to build muscle memory safely and inexpensively between live-fire sessions. The program includes drills for both new shooters and competitive athletes, with scoring modes to gamify practice.
