The National Rifle Association (NRA) has announced Mossberg as an official stage sponsor for the 2025 NRA World Shooting Championship. The prestigious multi-discipline competition, open to both amateur and professional shooters, is scheduled to take place at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, from September 30 to October 4. In a move designed to ensure fairness, all firearms, optics, and ammunition are provided to competitors, and this year, Mossberg will play a crucial role by supplying its high-performance 940 JM Pro semi-automatic shotgun for two key events. The shotgun will be featured in Side Match 1, a fast-paced 'Steel Blast' course, and the new Team Shoot-Off event, where top-ranking pros and amateurs will form teams to compete for a final prize. The 940 JM Pro, co-developed with world champion shooter Jerry Miculek, is known for being one of the fastest competitive shotguns on the market, giving competitors a high-level platform to test their skills. All Mossberg firearms used in the event will be included on the prize table, which is set to offer a total value nearing $250,000. This partnership highlights the continued collaboration between leading firearm manufacturers and national shooting organizations to promote and support competitive shooting. John MacLellan, Mossbergs vice president of sales and marketing, expressed pride in the partnership, stating that the company is 'incredibly honored' to support the shooting sports community and celebrate the 'skill, dedication and teamwork' that define the event.
