Mt. Juliet Police have determined that a shooting reported Sunday evening was self-inflicted, resulting in the victims death. Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Parrish Place after receiving an MJAlert about the incident around 8 p.m. Initial reports indicated that the scene was contained and that there was no active search for a suspect.
