Ben Nunnally, the public information officer for the city, remarked, "Being at a Christmas Eve party it is kind of the last place you would expect something to break out like that." Nunnally stated, "We are thinking that it was multiple shooters, we don't know how many. It may have been that each of the people involved had a firearm, but it was more than one shooter."
In dealing with the immediate aftermath, all four injured partygoers had to be transported to medical facilities for treatment. Fortunately, all victims are reported to be in stable condition, although one person remains under care. “To my understanding, three of them have already been treated and then one more we would have to check the status on,” added Nunnally.
