On August 11, a Nevada-based optics startup unveiled a solar-powered red dot sight designed for both recreational shooters and professional users. The sight features a hybrid power system that uses ambient light to maintain battery charge, with a traditional CR2032 cell as backup. The optic offers a 2 MOA dot, 12 brightness settings, and motion-sensing activation that automatically powers the unit on or off based on movement. The housing is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, and the unit is waterproof to a depth of one meter.
