Military Armament Corporation (MAC) has officially unveiled its new MAC IX, a 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) designed and manufactured in Knoxville, Tennessee. This direct blowback semi-automatic carbine features an AR-style pistol grip, a full-length Picatinny rail, and an M-Lok forearm, accepting widely available MP5 magazines. The MAC IX is engineered for portability and durability, boasting a compact overall length of 15.97 inches and a lightweight five-pound build, constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish. Designed for reliability and user-friendliness, the MAC IX includes an ambidextrous charging handle, adjustable sights, and both tri-lug and -28 threading for suppressor compatibility. Its AR-style takedown pins facilitate easy disassembly for maintenance. Each MAC IX ships with two metal magazines, a hard case, and a cleaning kit, making it ready for immediate use straight out of the box.
