A 23-year-old man named Calestro Bernard Frazier was arrested in North Charleston, South Carolina, on multiple drug and gun charges following a police investigation into a reported burglary at the North Charleston Lodge. The incident occurred late Monday night, during which police reviewed security footage that showed Frazier and two others exiting and re-entering a hotel room. Only one person was registered for that room, prompting police intervention. During the encounter, Frazier allegedly disposed of three plastic bags containing substances that later tested positive for cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. As police attempted to detain him, Frazier confessed to having a firearm in his waistband, which was subsequently recovered. He has been charged with possession of a firearm during a violent crime, among other serious drug-related charges.
