Today, the Board of Directors of the National Rifle Association of America (NRA) held a critical meeting following the recent 155th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Houston, Texas. During this meeting, Bill Bachenberg was unanimously reelected as President of the NRA, and Doug Hamlin as Executive Vice President & CEO. This notable gathering was attended by more than 70,000 NRA members and their families who flocked to the George R. Brown Convention Center to experience the latest offerings from over 550 exhibitors.
Bill Bachenberg emphasized the importance of member engagement and transparency during his address, noting the NRA’s commitment to preserving freedoms and delivering high-quality programs to gun owners across the country. A variety of positions were filled during the election, such as Mark Vaughan from Oklahoma as First Vice President, and Rocky Marshall from Texas as Second Vice President.
Hamlin highlighted the significance of the strong turnout at the annual meeting, indicating that the passion for recreational shooting sports and hunting is not only present but apparent in growing numbers. The meeting also included discussions on NRA's strategic initiatives as the organization moves forward into its 155th year.
