✍️By ZRIntel Editorial Team📍Seattle, WashingtonSeattle police have obtained a temporary Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) against Aren Oleson, a 36-year-old man arrested after firing multiple rounds inside his West Seattle apartment. Officers reported visible gunsmoke in the air and terrified neighbors during the incident. Though only misdemeanor charges have been filed so far, police seized a cache of firearms from his apartment and cited past felony convictionsthough Olesons firearm rights were restored in 2020. The ERPO was filed with support from the King County Prosecutors Office and prohibits Oleson from accessing firearms pending a hearing. Seattle PD emphasized that ERPOs are designed to preempt harm from those in mental crisis or showing violent behavior. Oleson remains in jail on $150,000 bail and faces both criminal and civil proceedings.
