The company has ramped up production of its Marlin-branded lever guns, which it acquired and revived after purchasing Marlin Firearms assets in 2020. CEO Christopher Killoy noted that the demand spans hunters, sport shooters, and collectors, many of whom appreciate the blend of heritage styling and modern manufacturing quality. The renewed popularity of lever-action rifles mirrors broader consumer trends favoring nostalgia paired with performance. Ruger has invested in production line upgrades to keep pace with orders, particularly for models chambered in .45-70 Government and .357 Magnum. The company says it will continue to expand its offerings within the Marlin brand while exploring limited-edition runs for the enthusiast market.
