The event, which took place on a Saturday, saw the Blackhawks shooting under cool autumn skies, creating ideal conditions for competitive sports shooting. Although the Blackhawks had a strong performance, they ultimately lost the match with a score of 486/500 birds (targets) to Hawkeyes 457/500. Elijah Bradly, a standout shooter for SCC, tied for first place in the mens singles category, achieving an impressive score of 98/100. During the match, Bradly shot 50 consecutive targets without missing, an outstanding feat that demonstrated his sharp focus and skill under pressure. This performance led to a shoot-off, where Bradly ended up taking second place. His score was a reflection of the team's preparedness and the quality training theyve been undergoing. Its always a thrill to compete against great teams, and Im proud of how we shot today, Bradly remarked after the competition. Kiley Bohenkamp, a talented female shooter, also made her mark in the womens singles event. She placed third with a score of 90/100, which was impressive given the level of competition. Bohenkamp showed remarkable resilience during the match, especially when it came down to a shoot-off for the womens first-place doubles.
