The expansion will support the company's growing portfolio of firearms, optics, suppressors, and ammunition, which have seen surging demand across civilian, law enforcement, and military markets. CEO Ron Cohen stated that the investment reflects Sig Sauers commitment to keeping its production and innovation pipeline firmly rooted in the United States. The new space will house advanced machining centers, product testing ranges, and collaborative engineering hubs to accelerate development cycles. The companys recent growth has been driven in part by major defense contracts, including the U.S. Armys Next Generation Squad Weapon program. The upgraded facility will also strengthen Sig Sauers ability to scale production of its popular civilian products, from the P320 handgun series to the MCX rifle line. Local officials welcomed the expansion, citing job creation and economic benefits to the Seacoast region.
