FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. SureFire has introduced the XR2, a compact weapon-mounted light and laser system designed for both concealed carry and home defense applications. Weighing under 2.5 ounces, the XR2 delivers 600 lumens of white light and features an integrated green or red aiming laser, allowing for rapid target acquisition in low-light environments. The XR2s compact profile minimizes printing when carried on compact or subcompact pistols, and its ambidextrous controls enable intuitive activation for both right- and left-handed shooters. The light operates on a rechargeable lithium battery, which can be charged without removing it from the unit, thanks to an onboard charging port. SureFire engineers designed the XR2 with a rugged aluminum body, ensuring durability in adverse conditions. The units laser is factory-aligned for point-of-impact accuracy at defensive distances but can be fine-tuned by the user.
