MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ala. A large-scale gunfight broke out Friday evening in the 6800 block of Atlanta Highway, prompting a rapid response from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. According to Assistant Chief Deputy Wesley Richerson, multiple individuals were involved in the shootout and fled the scene before deputies arrived. Investigators worked overnight and arrested 19-year-old King Walker on charges of attempted murder and firing into an occupied building. Numerous firearms, including an assault rifle, were recovered.
