AUSTIN, Texas (KVUE) The Texas Department of Public Safety issued a safety bulletin Wednesday after documenting a 27percent increase in roadrage shootings statewide compared to last year. DPS analysts attribute the surge to heavy traffic patterns and heightened tensions during peak travel hours. Trooper Olivia Reyes noted that many incidents involve motorists brandishing or discharging handguns over minor driving disputes. These encounters escalate within seconds, Reyes said.
