This prestigious event, hosted at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting, and Golf Club, will showcase the talents of twenty-two male and female athletes from various People of Determination clubs across the UAE. These participants have been engaged in intensive preparations, gearing up for a competition that features an impressive 43 events across multiple shooting disciplines, including pistol, air rifle, small-bore rifle, shotgun, and categories specifically designed for visually impaired shooters. This wide array of events signifies the growing inclusivity and diversity within the sport, particularly at an international level. Thiban Al Muhairi, the Secretary-General of the UAE Paralympic Committee, communicated the importance of this championship for enhancing the capabilities of People of Determination in sports. "Hosting the eighth edition of the championship at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting, and Golf Club represents another milestone for international competition and highlights our commitment to the continuous development of these talented individuals," stated Al Muhairi. He further indicated that previous editions of the tournament have not only fostered remarkable results but have also emphasized the support from the UAEs leadership for empowering People of Determination in various capacities. The event this year will witness an impressive turnout, with 213 athletes from 37 countries participating, demonstrating the universal appeal and competitive spirit of shooting sports worldwide. Among the participating athletes, the inclusion of four female shooters from the UAE team is particularly noteworthy.
