USA Clay Target League Launches Free Team Initiative
Nation’s largest youth clay shooting league removes financial barriers for new schools

The USA Clay Target League has announced a Free Team Initiative to eliminate startup costs for new high school teams entering the sport. As part of the initiative, sponsored by MidwayUSA Foundation and others, new teams receive funding for league registration, safety equipment, and coaching certification. The goal is to expand participation in clay shooting, especially in underserved or rural areas where access to funding has been a barrier. Over 50 new teams have already applied under the initiative. The USA Clay Target League currently serves more than 45,000 student-athletes annually across the U.S.
