Competitors contended with soaring July temperatures, pushing hydration and stamina preparation to the limits. Standout performances included Limited Division winner Ellie Morrison, who credited her off-season dry fire regimen and relentless mental focus, and Production Division champion Luis Prado, praised for running a nearly perfect match with zero penalties. Match director Ken Herman noted that revamped stage designs and increased use of electronic scoring streamlined operations and added excitement. Industry vendors, including several major firearm and optics brands, were on hand for the event, offering demo units and match-exclusive deals. This years increased collegiate competitor turnout drew attention from both sponsors and talent scouts, highlighting a generational shift and growing youth participation in the sport. USPSA officials pointed out the events strong safety record and praised both experienced staff and newer Range Officers.
