The MidwayUSA Foundation, in partnership with Vortex Optics, hosted a high-impact fundraising and training event from July 2527 at the state-of-the-art Vortex Edge facility in Barneveld, Wisconsin. The initiative generated over $80,000 to sustain youth shooting sports nationwide, with sponsorship from Ruger Firearms, Federal Premium Ammunition, Big Frig, and Walkers Game Ear. Attendees experienced elite pistol training led by Vortexs pro staff, including both classroom instruction and live-fire range work. Beyond the technical instruction, the event fostered strong community ties with activities such as clay shooting, golf, and a distillery tour. Vortex Optics Dealer Account Manager Jake Raffel praised the collaboration, noting its importance in shaping the future of the shooting sports. Funds raised will help youth teams cover critical costs like ammunition, targets, entry fees, and safety gear, ensuring that young athletes can continue to develop leadership, confidence, and discipline through shooting disciplines. Pete Eisentrager, Executive Director of the MidwayUSA Foundation, emphasized the shared mission with partners like Vortex and Ruger in cultivating the next generation of the outdoor industry. The MidwayUSA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, continues to innovate with fundraising events and matching-donation opportunities that double the impact of contributions. Registration fees for these events are tax-deductible and directed to the youth shooting program of the attendees choice.
