CAMEO, CO On July 26, 2025, the WCPS Games concluded at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex, bringing together elite long-range shooters for a grueling 10-stage match in the high-desert terrain of western Colorado. Hosted by West Elk Precision, Short Bus Precision, and Western Colorado Precision Shooters, the event was part of the NRL Hunter series. Kevin Wilkey & Ryan Steinforth took top honors in the Teams Division, earning a perfect 137 points (100%). Close behind were Clint Fix & Clark Murphy with 135 points (98.5%), followed by bronze finishers Derek Smuin & Derryk Hovey at 117 points (85.4%). Individual standouts included: Garrett May in Open Light with 53 points (100%) Johnny Alkhatib in Skills Division with 41 points (100%) Drayden Wilcox in Factory with 31 points (100%) Brady Talent and Frank Peralta tied at 54 points in Open Heavy, with tie-breaker PF (Power Factor) stats used The Cameo venues real-world layout forced shooters into unconventional positionson slopes, in shadows, and amid sparse vegetation. Precision under pressure was tested by shifting light and heat. Ten full squads completed all stages, with some Young Guns showing serious potential.
