Doug Kevilus

is the founder and lead instructor of 2A Firearms Academy in Fairfield, California. A U.S. Army veteran and longtime adult educator, he is a California DOJ-certified CCW instructor, NRA Chief Range Officer, NROI Chief Range Officer, and a U.S. LawShield Concealed Carry Instructor Credential holder in California Legal Foundations. He also holds NRA instructor certifications across multiple pistol, rifle, shotgun, concealed-carry, and personal-protection disciplines. Through 2A Firearms Academy, Kevilus has helped train more than 1,200 Northern California students in concealed carry, defensive pistol skills, firearm safety, and lawful use-of-force decision-making.
