Rick Sease

is a retired Sergeant with the University Park Police Department in Maryland, where he served for 45 years. He began his EMS career in 1985 and has worked as a technician and instructor for more than four decades. He is a certified SABRE Personal Safety Academy instructor and holds certifications from the American Red Cross and American Heart Association in CPR, First Aid, and BLS instruction. He is the founder and director of Prominence Security Training Academy in the National Capital Region, where he has trained more than 2,000 students across law enforcement, private security, and civilian populations in threat recognition, situational awareness, and immediate-action medical response.
