Founder and Chief Instructor of Firearms Safety First, LLC, Doc served 17 years as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman, much of it serving alongside Marines. His work centers on judgment-based decision-making, human performance under pressure, and the difference between teaching someone to perform a skill and preparing them to decide when, why, or whether to use it, drawing on his own RIRR (Recognize, Interrupt, Reset, Recover) framework for restoring performance under stress.
